My Name is Anurag Chadha. I love cooking and seeing smiles on happy faces.

Why did you decide to become a chef?

I love eating (who doesn’t ?) and when I heard about an apprenticeship Program in IDTC (India Tourism Development Corporation) in Delhi, I jumped to it and the rest is history.

What was your last job before Jajoo & Jaipur?

I worked for Mughli Bar + Kitchen


Have you worked in another country before? If yes, where?

Yes, in India and Cardiff if that counts.


What is your favourite food to make and why?

I love making Indian curries, it takes me closer to my family memories of mums cooking.


What is your favourite food to eat and why?

Daal Chawal- home made. Simple but the BEST


Who is your favourite chef and why?

Kunal Kapoor. I loved working with him because he was as calm as a cucumber 


If you could have superpower, what would it be and why?

I need many superpowers haha, one will not be sufficient. But on a serious note, If I can do something good for humanity, I would!


What is the one thing ( tool, spice, experience) you could not live without?

Green Cardomom 


Are you a shouter in the kitchen?

My colleagues can answer this better than me!


Have you ever cooked for anyone famous?

Kapil Dev, captain of India Cricket World Cup winter team in 1983. And many more celebrities when I worked in The Searock Hotel in Mumbai.
